Chaz September 29, 2023 for Model Number DBXR463EGWW Hi, I’m replacing all the slide bearings on my dryer. I’m not sure how many are necessary. I’ve ordered 2: one 1067 and one 504. The new front support assembly has four slots, but when I originally opened it up due to loud squeaking, there were only 2 slides (one had come off and the drum had damaged the front assembly.) I planned to order 2 more slides anyways, but I’m not sure how they need to be arranged. Also, can I still operate the dryer with just 2 bearings only for the 3-5 days it will take for the others to get delivered? Thanks in advance!
1 Answer Chaz, When replacing the bearing slide you will want to replace 2 of each even if 2 of them are ok. Read More...
Catuy April 04, 2023 for Model Number DVLR223EG7WW The front bearing just broke. This is the 2nd time in 4 or 5 months. Overloading is probably not helping. But in your opinion could it be the rear bearing as well? Thank you for your time.
1 Answer Catuy, It could not hurt to have a look at the rear bearing and see its condition. Overloading would be a real issue with this style machine. Read More...

Frustrated April 30, 2021 for Model Number DBXR463GG7WW what could be causing my GE dryer's front bearing to crack and slides to wear out several times a year. Could I need to replace the bulkhead or the rear bearing?

John November 13, 2020 for Model Number DCSR473GV0AA Which bearing slides do I need for this model dryer? Starting to squeek quite loudly. Thank you
1 Answer John, this model would use two WE03X37317 bearing slides and two WE03X37318 bearing slides on the model provided making for a total of 4 installed on the top drum support. However, it would be recommended that they are inspected for wear as this noise can be caused by a failing idler pulley WE12X83 or even rear bearings WE25M40. Read More...
