Dave M January 23, 2018 for Model Number CSCP5UGXCFSS My original fridge door seal part # was WR24X10256. When I look for a replacement, GE's website states the new part # is WR24X20456. However, when I ordered this part this past Summer, it was NOT the same seal as what came with the fridge. The outside edges were folded, whereas the original ones were more raw, straight edges of rubber. The new part # did NOT seal my door at all...no suction. And it was installed correctly, in the channel completely. So now I don't know what to do. My fridge has a serious leakage of air issue, and I need the original type seal, part WR24X10256. What to do?

Keith April 30, 2014 for Model Number Pss26sgpass I need to order a seal for the door. Does the replacement kit come with adhesive.
Justwondering November 30, 2013 for Model Number pss26sgpass The gasket that is on my fridge at present is too thick and does not allow the door to close fully. I think that it was replaced previous to us owning it and they put the wrong one on. Before I buy I would like to know if the new gasket (part # wr24x10256) is the right thickness. The one that is on presently is approximately 5/8" thick. The one on the freezer side, which is fine, is only 1/2" thick. this measurement is with the gasket slightly compressed, like when the door is closed. Please let me know if your gasket will work for me. Thanks
1 Answer Hello. We do not have the specs on the gasket. Based on the model number you provided, WR24X20455 is the correct gasket for the unit. Read More...

Art November 22, 2012 for Model Number PSS26SGPASS The door is not closing properly, is the seal the problem?
1 Answer Hello Art, The door seal could be one possibility. Also check to make sure that all bins are properly in place and not sticking out. If it is the freezer door check to make sure that there is no ice build up on the floor of unit which would indicate a frozen drain line. Check to make sure that the door has not dropped too low and is catching causing door to stay open. Read More...
