The Middle Spray Arm Kit is an OEM replacement part specific to GE dishwashers. It contains the rotating center arm component that helps distribute water, dishwasher detergent, and moisture across the middle rack shelves for enhanced cleaning.

Causes of a bad middle spray arm can include clogged spray holes inhibiting proper water coverage, worn ball bearings reducing spray force, or broken or missing spray arm attachment clips.

Symptoms of a bad middle spray arm include:

  • Items on middle racks not receiving sufficient cleaning
  • Dried food or soap scum buildup is visible on rack shelves and dishes
  • The arm fails to rotate or spin during cycles
  • Detached spray arm is no longer connected to the dishwasher tub

This OEM GE replacement is compatible with many GE, Hotpoint, and Profile dishwasher models.

Lara, Without a model number, a little difficult to determine. If you have the WD35X10054 middle spray arm kit, as best we can tell, you may need the WD12X10391 Mounting Hub that attaches to the bottom of the rack and/or the WD02X10067 Screw which mounts the spray arm to the hub of the on the water supply tube.

George, You will want to check the door latch to make sure that it is working. If the switch is good then you will want to check to make sure that there is power to the motor and if there is power to the motor then the motor is faulty if it is not running and if it has no power to it then the issue will be the timer.

My middle spray arm fell off and the screw and washer are missing. Are they small enough to be washed down the drain? I've searched throughout the inside of the dishwasher, but can't find them. However, I need to replace them. I see that they are listed as parts #s 611 and 612 in your assembly diagram, but can't find a way to order them without ordering the complete assembly. Or are they generic enough to get from the local hardware store? Thank you

Tom, You would have to make sure that you have the correct size but if you could determine that then you could get locally. As for where they could have gone. It would be recommended to get into the pump assembly and check to see if they went into the pump.

There is still a question about whether the Middle Spray Arm kit, your number AP3777929, GE number WD35X10054, contains the necessary screw. Conflicting answers have been given: "Yes, number 612 in the diagram will come with the Kit mid spray arm hub WD35X10054", and "The mid spray arm kit WD35X10054 comes with the washer/bearing and hub nut. The screw would need to be gotten separately". GE's WD35X10054 kit does come with the screw. Does your kit AP3777929 contain the screw? Thanks for your time.
