Manufacturer Part Number: WB03K10265

The Knob Assembly is an OEM part for GE gas ranges. The knob regulates cooktop burner temperatures. Color: metallic. It measures about 2 inches in diameter.

Causes relate to unavoidable heat stress and abrasion from everyday cooking tasks gradually wearing down plastic and metal interface points over 10+ years. Regular cleaning chemicals may also degrade markings prematurely.

Symptoms of a bad knob assembly include:

  • Loose, wobbly or detached knob disconnecting from valve stem
  • Knob difficult to rotate between settings or accidentally changing positions
  • Faded or damaged markings inhibiting visual confirmation of settings
  • Non-responsive rotation failing to adequately valve gas flow

This GE OEM replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Hello Cheryl. The new knob should match the old knob on the unit. If not, then you can return the knob or purchase all new knobs. We can not adjust the price on them. Sorry.

Ruth, I believe your model should read C2S980SEM1SS (C2S instead of C25). If the part that is broken is the black shaft that protrudes from the knob, you'll need to replace the knob. The power burner knob is part number WB03K10266. Thanks.

KD, the knob assembly WB03K10265 is the knob only. If you need the part that the knob attaches to on the control panel itself you'll need to order the switch itself. We'll need the location of the knob/switch on the panel and your appliance model number to determine the correct part number needed. Thanks.
