Hello Mike. No, it comes with the ribbon cables. You should be able to unplug all the others wires going to the old board. No soldering is needed in the replacement.

The bake element does not work most of the time and I think the problem is either the bake relay or the control board. The oven will get up to temperature(350), but then starts to cool off once it reaches that temp. I believe that the bake element is what is supposed to regulate the temperature once it reaches it. I took the covers off of the relays and i can see the contacts on the bake relay looked suspect. I am wondering if I should just replace the control board. The oven was built in 2003. the bake element ohms out at 22 ohms.

Hello Bud. Yes, if the bake element is good, you will need to replace the control board in the unit.

This wall oven/microwave stopped heating in either bake or broil mode. Everything else works but neither element gets warm. Both elements are good. The voltage coming to the elements is only 42 volts. It is the same at both connections and switches on and off with the controls. It is a big job to get the oven out of the cabinet to check the thermal switch or temperature probe so I am trying to decide if they could be the problem since there is some voltage at the elements but not enough. I am tempted to order the oven control board or smart board and give one a try before having to remove the oven. Any input on what might cause the 42 volt situation?
