John April 04, 2014 for Model Number CSX27DRS When I push the water dispenser, the water keeps on running and it does not stop when I release the pressure on the actuator button. What part can I buy to fix the problem? I already purchased the pad.
1 Answer Hello John, You either have insufficient water pressure to the valve or the valve WR57X10051 has failed. Read More...
Michael December 11, 2013 for Model Number GE 2 Door Refrigerator MODEL TFX22CR When I push the water dispenser, the water keeps on running and it does not stop when I release the pressure on the actuator button. What part can I buy to fix the problem? Please let me know the part number and the cost. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Michael. Check and see if the micro switch WR23X366 is bad in the dispenser and is sticking. If so, replace the switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Bill June 09, 2013 for Model Number GE TBX25PR When trying to get ice, if I just push the lever all the way to the right it usually will not dispense ice. I have to giggle the lever right and left and at some point the ice is dispensed. Until recently, ice was dispensed when the lever was all the way to the right. Is there anything I can do to make it work wwhen the lever is all the way to the right? Thanks very much for any help.
1 Answer Bill, If the unit is not dispensing ice when to the right then the selector control board WR55X129 is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Stanley February 15, 2013 for Model Number TFX27PFXBBB Sometimes when you push the dispenser actuator button on the door the water or ice will not stop when you release pressure on the actuator button. It doesn't do in all the time but the symptoms are getting worse and if you are lucky you can push the button in the right area to make it stop.
1 Answer Hello Stanley, You will want to check the dispenser lever for damage. The dispenser lever is behind the actuator pad and you will have to remove dispenser facing to check. It sounds like the spring is bad. Read More...

Garth B September 17, 2012 for Model Number tpx21prxaww I have the icemaker working now but the ice cubes seem to back up behind the door. Does the chute door rely on the weight of the ice to push the door open? Or is there an actuator that is supposed to open the door?
1 Answer Hello Garth. The solenoid assembly works the door. Based on the information you provided, you need to replace the solenoid assembly WR62X107. Read More...
Garth September 06, 2012 for Model Number tpx21przxa ww I "inherited" this fridge, the actuator pad is gone, the actuating lever or arm works but will not return to the off position once depressed. I assume there is a spring that is missing or inoperative but cannot identify the part number on the diagram. To clarify further the actuating lever (or arm) will turn off the selected function if you simply pull on it. It just will not return on its own as it should.
1 Answer Hello Garth. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the solenoid assembly WR62X107 is bad and may need to be replaced. Check and see if the solenoid assembly is sticking on the unit. If so, you will need to order and replace the solenoid assembly. If the solenoid is working good, then you will need to order and replace the spring WR2X8663 on the unit. Read More...
Dot December 14, 2011 for Model Number TPX24SRYA Push to dispense is fine. Must pinch across to stop water or ice. I pushed too hard a month ago and now have to be nimble fingered to stop; yet will stop by itself if I allow 1-2 seconds without pressure. Got any ideas for what is wrong and how to fix?
1 Answer Hi Dot. There is no pictorial view to see the exact type of fountain keypad you have. If it is the keypad that you think is hard to press, then this is part #WR17X4211. There is a control board that sends the water valve the command to start the water dispense is part # WR55X129. If the water valve is not shutting off in time, then this part # is WR57X10051. If the water line is kinked behind the unit , it will not allow the water valve enough pressure to keep closed. Thank You. Read More...
