Dick for Model Number GE TXF25PRBE WW Refrigerator

I replaced my Dispenser Control Board some years ago and my need to do so again as the water/ice slide is starting to stick and sometimes is very difficult to slide. My other problem is that the water dispenser has a delay of a second or so between releasing the actuator pad and when the water stops. I'm wondering if this is a result of the control board or a slow/bad water valve. I replaced the valve many years ago as well. Thanks

Hello Dick, The sticky slide control can sometimes be dis-assembled and cleaned to correct. The other issue is normally caused by a slow closing water valve WR57X10051 but can be caused by air in the water dispenser tank or a pinhole in the water dispense system. This is normally located by a small water leak in the floor.

Carroll, The water is coming from the drain that is frozen. Remove the rear panel in the freezer and clean drain and flush with hot water to clear the drain out.

Carroll, You will want to remove the rear cover in the freezer compartment and clear the ice from the drain trough and flush it with hot water. This is most likely what is causing the issue. You will also need to remove the ice from under the bottom shelf on the freezer floor.

Ed, This actuator pad just pulls straight off. You would just get ahold of it from the back and pull out. Then just push the new one in place.

Hello Didier! Part number WR2X8702 is bisque in color. The white actuator pad has been discontinued and is no longer available. The manufacturer only offers the actuator pad in black as part number WR2X8702. Please keep in mind we only ship within the US and would need a US physical address to ship parts too. Thanks.
