Tom October 29, 2014 for Model Number JVM1650BB007 Where can I get information on how to replace the front door panel (part #4) on my microwave. I found the part but want to make sure I can replace myself.
1 Answer Tom, To replace the outer door you will have to remove the upper grill at the top of the unit and there should be a cover over the upper hinge at the door you would pop off then lift off the unit. Then you will use a flat blade in between the choke on the inside of the door and the outer panel and pop the choke out and switch parts from old door panel to new door panel. Read More...
Robert L October 23, 2013 for Model Number JVN1642BB004 The parts search for the oven are very thorough but none that need are compatible to JVM1642BB004. Are parts not available for that model. I notice the 001, 002, 003 & 005 are listed on the compatibilty list. Are the parts for the 004 obsolete?

Ken S. May 08, 2012 for Model Number JVM1640BB-002 I found the appropriate part on the blow-up diagram of the general electric microwave door. It appears to be what we need. There is no indication of color. We need a black part (No. 4 on the diagram).
