Kevin January 09, 2014 for Model Number #WPGT9150HMG The pulsator asm came off during wash. Now when I put it back on and tighten it firmly it immediately comes loose and makes loud grinding noises. It looks like it's missing a piece underneath the pulsator asm. I can tighten bolt down but immediately it comes loose during washing. Am I missing something?
1 Answer Hello Kevin. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the assembly WH43X10027 will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...

Now when I put it back on and tighten it firmly it immediately comes loose and makes loud grinding noises. I think the threads may be stripped. Is there a reason it wont stay tight. Did a lock washer or some other piece fall off?
2 Answers Paul, you will need to determine if the threads for the bolt have stripped or if the shaft that the threads go into have stripped. If the threads on the shaft have stripped then you will need a gearcase for the unit. Read More...

Greg May 30, 2013 for Model Number GE washer wpgt9350coww The washer is making chirping noises on the spin cycle? What might be wearing out?
1 Answer Greg, You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing in between the tubs that would cause the chirping noise. Also check the Mech housing assembly bearing WH39X10003 to make sure that the bearings are not going bad. Read More...
Jason April 03, 2013 for Model Number WPGT9360E0WW During any stage where the pulsator asm (WH43X10027) is operating independently from the tub asm (WH45x10056), the pulsator attempts to move with the rotor; but, it barely moves. You can hear a crunching noise when it fails to follow the rotor. After disassembling the entire unit :), it seems like the pulsator hub is stripped where it locks into the mechanical housing asm-bearing (WH39X10003) shaft. When the pulsator is disengaged from the tub, are the only components in connected the rotor, bearing, and pulsator? Not sure if I need a new bearing also.
1 Answer Jason, Unless the shaft of the unit is damaged or the unit leaking from the bearing. you would not need to replace the bearing. The bearing comes as part of the Mech housing assembly WH39X10003. Read More...
Tracy Degreen February 16, 2013 for Model Number wpgt930c0pl The 10-mm hex-head screw that holds the infusor in place has been working it self out during wash cycles. At first using a philips I could replace it and tighten adequately that would last for several loads. Recently I've had to use a wrench to tighten to last several loads, now the screw has been lost during a wash cycle. How do I replace this screw with the appropriate mechanism that keeps it locked. Thank you in advance.
1 Answer Tracy, You'll want to order another screw WH02X10151, pick up some "Loc Tite" thread locker at the hardware store, and or use a 1/4 inch drive socket wrench set to tighten the screw properly. Read More...
J. Andujar October 19, 2012 for Model Number WPGT9350C0PL Ge Washer How do you get the pulsator assembly out when it doesn't simply lift out?
1 Answer J., Here's some help, " 1. Place a flat-head screwdriver in the slot under the infusor cap and gently pry it off. 2. Remove the 10-mm hex-head screw that holds the infusor in place with a socket or Phillips head screwdriver (turn screw counterclockwise to remove). Note: The 10-mm screw has a rubber O-ring. 3.Pull the infusor up and out. WARNING: The inner edge can be sharp. Wear Kevlar gloves or equivalent protection. 4. Remove the 37.5-mm (1-1/2” SAE equivalent) hub-nut with a socket or Crescent wrench (rotate hub-nut counterclockwise to remove). 5.Lift the wash basket up and out." Read More...
