Karen November 24, 2017 for Model Number GE Harmony Washer The pulse assembly comes completely off during the washing cycle. I am able to screw it back on and then put the grey plastic locking piece back on. But it does the again the next time I put a load of laundry into the washer. Do I just need to order the pulsing assembly or is there something else like a locking washer that I also need to order? How difficult is it to change this part out?
1 Answer Karen, Try putting some Loctite on the threading of the bolt and this should help keep the bolt from coming loose. Read More...
Frank C November 20, 2016 for Model Number WPGT9150H0WW Washer making grinding noise only during wash cycle . 2 months ago replaced the pulsator. It came off ( was stripped). Replaced pulsator, no noise. Now noise is now back. Pulsator looks fine and is tight. Could it be the wash machine drive motor.
1 Answer Frank, The most likely cause for the grinding noise during agitation would be the motor, if it is not engaging properly to the agitation. The part number for the motor is WH20X10024. Read More...

Stanley Senior November 09, 2014 for Model Number WPGT9350C0PL During the spin cycle, I hear loud noises coming from the machine. I don't hear this during the regular wash or rinse cycle. Only when the spin cycle is running, I think it could be coming from the drain pump, but I'm not sure. The noise is a loud humming noise.
1 Answer Stanley, The noise that you are hearing as a loud humming noise would most likely be the drain. The drain will run during the spin cycle to extract the excess water coming from the clothes as the tub spins it out. You will want to make sure that the drain does not have anything in it that would cause the noise. Read More...
Anthony November 05, 2014 for Model Number WPGT09360E0PL Recently, the bolt that attaches the pulsator arm to the part that actually spins it snapped in half. First off, is there anyway that I can get that bolt out and replace it with another, or do I have to buy an entire new piece for that. My pulsator arm is now stripped as well. Am I looking at spending 300 dollars to get my washer fixed, or is there a DIY option here?
1 Answer Anthony, The only way that you would be able to get the broken part of the bolt out would to be to try and use an extraction tool to remove. If unable to get out this way then you would need to replace the Mech housing and bearing assembly. The part number is WH39X10003. Read More...

Jaye January 15, 2014 for Model Number WPGT9121PL I just received my new pulsator and was wondering if someone can help to install it. It came with a bolt and a rubber band and looks like a spike washer. My question is when I install it does that need to stay in the pulsator or do I put the spiky washer on the pole in the washer first and then tighten the bolt???
1 Answer Hello Jay. Instructions from manufacturer. "1. Place a flat-head screwdriver in the slot under the infusor cap and gently pry it off. 2. Remove the 10-mm hex-head screw that holds the infusor in place with a socket or Phillips head screwdriver (turn screw counterclockwise to remove). Note: The 10-mm screw has a rubber O-ring. 3.Pull the infusor up and out. WARNING: The inner edge can be sharp. Wear Kevlar gloves or equivalent protection." Based on these, the washer and o-ring goes onto the 10mm screw. Read More...
