Karen, Try putting some Loctite on the threading of the bolt and this should help keep the bolt from coming loose.

Frank, The most likely cause for the grinding noise during agitation would be the motor, if it is not engaging properly to the agitation. The part number for the motor is WH20X10024.

Peggy, You will want to first check the suspension rods to make sure that they are in proper position and make sure that they still have spring to them. Also check the rotor and stator to make sure that the magnets are not damaged.

Joshua, You will want to be careful doing this but the only way to get the pulsator arm off would be to rock it back and forth to loosen it up.

Stanley, The noise that you are hearing as a loud humming noise would most likely be the drain. The drain will run during the spin cycle to extract the excess water coming from the clothes as the tub spins it out. You will want to make sure that the drain does not have anything in it that would cause the noise.

Anthony, The only way that you would be able to get the broken part of the bolt out would to be to try and use an extraction tool to remove. If unable to get out this way then you would need to replace the Mech housing and bearing assembly. The part number is WH39X10003.

Hello Jay. Instructions from manufacturer. "1. Place a flat-head screwdriver in the slot under the infusor cap and gently pry it off. 2. Remove the 10-mm hex-head screw that holds the infusor in place with a socket or Phillips head screwdriver (turn screw counterclockwise to remove). Note: The 10-mm screw has a rubber O-ring. 3.Pull the infusor up and out. WARNING: The inner edge can be sharp. Wear Kevlar gloves or equivalent protection." Based on these, the washer and o-ring goes onto the 10mm screw.
