Ddavis263 September 07, 2011 for Model Number DPGT750EC1PL How do I test the line filter to see if that is what the problem is?
1 Answer Hello Ddavis263. You will test for power coming from the line filter to the control board. If there is power there, then the line filter WE04X10127 is good, and you will need to replace the PWB assembly WE04X10120. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Ddavis263 September 06, 2011 for Model Number DPGT750EC1PL I'm getting power to the dryer but the control panel isn't lighting up. I get no response from the power on button. It basically looks and acts like it does when its not plugged in. I've tested the limit switches and safety switches for continuity and they all check out. Do I need a main board?
1 Answer Hi Ddavis. There are more than one parts to consider before you purchase one. Is the line filter OK? This is part #WE04X10127. Is the control board at fault ? Part # is WE04X10120. Is the control panel at fault? Part # is WE04X10134. You might consider using the diagnostic sheet in the rear of the control panel to help you diagnose the unit. However it all basically powers out from the inverter control board part # is WE04X10120. Thank you. Read More...
