Wes K April 10, 2013 We got a part for our GE Dishwasher from you all. The bottom seal for bottom of our door but the inside cover does not come off. Take screws around edge out and that releases front off but we still can not get to bottom seal on bottom of door.
1 Answer Hello Wes. The bottom door seal is replaceable by removing the outer door panel. With the door closed, insert a flat-blade screwdriver under the bottom of the door into the channel and twist to break the bead. Open the door and pull the seal from the channel. To install the seal, snap the seal into the channel, working from one side of the door to the other, until the entire bead is complete and the seal slides freely in the channel. Read More...
Albert J. M February 14, 2013 for Model Number PDW 788OGOOSS ser VD824647B I have an old GE dishwasher, about ten years old. The seal short bottom WDO8X10075 is worn off. It appears to be glued onto the bottom of the door.I was told the old one would pull out and the new one would inserts into the place where the old one came from. Years ago did they glue the pieces onto the bottom of the doors? If so how do I fix it. Thank You for your help. Albert Moreau
1 Answer Hello Albert, You would want to open the inner door by removing the screws on the inner panel. By doing this you can access the seal at the bottom of the inner door. Not aware that they were glued in but this will give easier access to the old seal and installing new. Read More...

1 Answer Hi Ajm. Are there any more letters after the "jss"....... ?? Is the unit level fron to back and side by side? Are all 4- legs touching(snugly) the floor so the door is not cocked under a heavy load. Yes, the lower door seal is part # WD08X10075 can stop leaks.
