Joe, the tub nut for this model would need to be removed by rotating it clockwise. The wrench WX5X1325 is recommended for use to remove the tub nut and a hammer would be used on the wrench to help rotate the nut the first few rotations.

Dave, once that nut comes off you should be able to remove the basket, try using some solvent around the shaft, work the basket back and forth, it should come off.

Cody, The only way to really get this off would be to have someone lift on the inner tub and use a small sledge hammer and tap down on the shaft to get it to break free.

T Judson for Model Number GTUN275GM0WW

I have my GE stack washer/dryer taken apart, to replace the tub seal. I removed the Nut Hub (part 325), but there was no Washer Hub (part 318) underneath, nor any ability to pull the tub out to access the Seal Tub (part 304). Mine looks a tad different from the schematics, at least to me. There is a square hub that seems to still be holding down the tub. This square hub is threaded on the corners and it's what the nut hub was screwed onto. Do I somehow remove this square hub or somehow get the tub up over it? I've put penetrating oil around the square hub and shook the tub trying to loosen, and nothing budges. Maybe pictures help: https://tjjudson.imgur.com/all/

T Judson, It appears that the issue is the tub is stuck in the unit and is corroded in place. The only thing that you can really try is to beat the inner tub with a hammer to try to break it free. There is no other parts that would need to be removed.
