Pianoman P. July 03, 2018 for Model Number HotPoint HDA150X-66AW dishwasher The telescoping sprayer in the middle of the dishwasher has a crack its' top segment and is not retracting completely. Without being manually dropped, when the cycle is complete. We cannot remove the lower rack until the telescoped sprayer full retracts, obviously. How hard is it to repair this piece? We believe we need the item shown as "Lower Spray Arm with Tower" (Part 549). Thank you
1 Answer Hello Pianoman, You will need to order and replace the spray arm assembly WD22X154 for the model provided. This is not difficult. Use a screwdriver to hold the plastic tab out gently and unscrew the assembly. Screw the new one in and the job is complete. Read More...

G20zoom January 16, 2017 for Model Number GSD2030Z05WW I've read in several comments that you need a special tool to remove the spray arm due to 2 locking tabs. Is that true? If not, can I come from underneath by removing the coupler to the pump and popping the tabs from the bottom side?
1 Answer Hello G20zoom, The spray arm is easily removable with a screwdriver. You do need to be very careful since over flexing the retaining tab will break it and it will have to be replaced if broken. It only need be bent up far enough to clear and is lifted straight up and off. Read More...
Angela February 02, 2016 for Model Number GSD2000J01WW dishes are not getting clean, the center part (501) is not staying in a upright position. not sure if the water pressure will make it extend to spray water on the dishes? dishes are dirty as they were when put in dishwasher! not sure if I need to replace the whole are or another part? any suggestions will help
1 Answer Angela, The water pressure pushes the center tower up in order to spray the upper dishes. You will want to check the water level and check the impeller on the pump to make sure that it is not damaged. Also check the screens to make sure that they are not clogged. Theses will be the most common cause for not having pressure to the tower to wash the upper dishes. Read More...
Ms January 11, 2016 for Model Number GSD1200G00WW Spray arm not turning. I've got usual amount of water coming in. If I open the door real quick I can see the water coming from the holes in the spray arm, but it isn't turning. I removed the filter and ensured all that area was cleaned out before the sump. None of the spray arm holes look clogged, but I could remove and check. Is this a bad pump?
1 Answer Hello MS. You will need to make sure water level is correct. If so, you will need to replace the circulation pump in the unit. Read More...

Rick July 20, 2014 for Model Number GE GSD2000 Dishwasher Spray arm doesn't rotate. No leaks. Water must be going in as the drain cycles. What's the problem?
1 Answer Rick, First check and make sure the dishwasher is filling properly. The water level after 3-5 minutes of wash time should be 3/4 to 1 inch deep at the float dome in the front left corner of the tub. If not in range, replace the fill valve WD15X10003. If the water level is OK, then you'll need to remove the cover and filter WD12X417 and check the sump for debris and clogs that would restrict the water flow to the impeller WD19X10032. Read More...
