Yosi February 10, 2012 for Model Number GE GSS22JERFCC Inside the freezer of my GE GSS22JERFCC (Side-by-Side), the ice maker is leaking. It's just a drop and very small but steady and slowly fill, cover and freeze all the spaces that are below it, forming thick layers of ice visible or not visible. The freezing in turn, affects the normal functioning of the ice dispenser, however the ice maker works without alteration and/or interruption. According, the problem may come from the water valve. Please let me know your opinion. Thank you

1 Answer Hi Danny. If the ice maker is shorted and telling the water valve to continuously send water , then the ice maker will need changed. Ice maker part # WR30X10093. If the water valve coils shorted open, this will allow constant fill. Water valve part # WR57X10050. You will need to check to see if the fill hose coming from the wall to the unit is not kinked.
