Marc, You will want to check to make sure that there is a good filter in the unit. If the filter is good then this will likely be a faulty water filter head that is causing no ice or water.

A small amount of water is dripping into the ice tray. I pulled the ice drawer and the icemaker. Let them dry out completely and then replaced them both. I also set the freezer to -5 degrees. I had it set to -2 before. There is still a small leak into the ice tray causing the cubes to freeze into blocks of ice. Do I have a bad icemaker or a bad water valve? Please tell me what part(s) I should replace. And the part numbers so I can just order them. I've been dealing with this for a week now and I'm tired of it.

Martin, Behind the wall in the refrigerator compartment is a evaporator assembly which has a drain. More than likely the drain has gotten clogged and is causing the drain to back up and leak out under the drawers. You will want to remove the panel and clean the drain and flush it with hot water.

Hello Steve. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Ricky. Check and see if the noise is coming from the filter head. If so, you will need to order and replace the filter head WR17X12512 on the unit. Usually, this is what causes the noise from the unit.

Hello Clayton. If you haven't purge the system, the air in the lines could cause a drip. Try running a minimum of a gallon through the water dispenser to get rid of any air present in the line. Hope this helps!

Clayton, The issue with the dispenser leaking would most likely be caused by a faulty water valve. What is happening is the water valve is not fully seating which causes the leaking issue. The part number is WR57X10091.
