Jason November 19, 2011 for Model Number WBVH6240FWW I get the E22 error code (fill time). When going thru various tests, in T08 (hot water) everything goes fine. But in T09 (cold water) no cold water comes in. I've checked for clogs at the input screens, kinks in input hoses, etc. No issue. This seems to indicate a bad water valve not letting in cold water ever. However, how do I know that it isn't in fact a bad control board never *telling* the solenoid valve to let in water? I'm trying to figure out how to isolate the problem to the water valve or the control board.
1 Answer Hello Jason. You will need to test for power coming to the water valve from the control board. If there is power there, but no water, you will need to replace the water valve WH13X10023. Hope this helps. Read More...
Dana A. September 07, 2011 for Model Number WBVH6240FWW How do I replace the water valve in my GE washer?
1 Answer Hello Dana. Disconnect the power to the unit and remove the screws on the back of the top panel. Slide the top back and lift it off the unit. Once removed, you will turn off the water and remove the hoses from the water valve in the back of the machine. Remove the screw securing the valve in place. Reinstall with the new water valve WH13X10023 in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
