Prior to replacing the water line (because it was leaking on the floor) the ice make and freezer was working fine. Does the valve need to be calibrated or reset? If so what is the process? Tim May 06, 2011 for Model Number tps24bpdabs I have replaced the valve and the ice maker tube (on the back) of the refrig. The ice maker will not cycle through. How do I reset or recalibrate the water valve?

1 Answer Hello Nicholas! Have you recently replaced your water filter? If so, try dispensing a couple of glasses of water to get rid of any air pockets that may have entered the line. Make sure none of the tubing does not have any pin holes and are sealed tight. This can also be caused from a bad filter, MWFP, if the filter has not been changed in a while or water valve WR57X10023.
