Hello Johnny, Try cutting off about 1/4 of an inch of the line. If the line has an indentation where it was installed before, it will not seal in a John Guess fitting. If this doesn't correct the seal, the valve will have to be replaced.

Hello John. Unhook the water line from the bottom of the freezer door. Press the dispenser and see if the water comes out there. If so, the door is frozen and will need to be thawed out to repair the unit. Hope this helps.

Hi Dick. Remove power. Remove the units back. The water valve mount bracket is held in place with a 1/4" screw. The tubing is both , 1/4 " and 5/16". The water supply cannot be kinked while pushing back into place. The fill tube will twist 1/4 -turn and pull out from the back. Rinse under the sink and dry tube completely with a blow dryer. The water valve is part # WR57X10024. Use a coil cleaning brush to clean the condenser coils with while you are behind the unit. This part # is TJ103. Thank you.

Ed H. for Model Number TFX28PPDB WW

I have a delay of about twenty seconds when I press the button to get water. This is the same problem as described in a previous question. There is no coughing or sputtering so I don't think there is any air in the line. I have removed the filter and put in the bypass plug which didn't help. I have replaced the water valve part AP2071736 per your suggestion and that also made no difference. The stream is strong and steady once it starts. You hear a low buzz when you first press the button which becomes louder just before the water starts. It seems to work perfectly except for the long delay before releasing any water. What should I look at next?

Hello Ed. You may need to replace the other water valve WR57X10022 on the unit. This model has a total of three water valves. Based on the information you provided, that is the only thing it could be. Hope this helps.

Ralph for Model Number tfs28ppbebs

I had to replace a section of water line hose that connects into AP2071736, as it had melted being up against the compressor. In trying to fix it, the hose end came out and the connecting "sleeve" where it joins into the valve assembly broke. How do I replace the sleeve, and reconnect the hose? In an earlier "QUESTION" on the website it stated to simply "press in on the plastic fittings and the water lines will pull out". Where and how am I supposed to PRESS IN ?, and does the sleeve come out with the hose? Thanks.

Ralph, If the plastic compression sleeve around the water tube on the fill valve is broken, you will need to replace the fill valve WR57X10024 Using the diagram/ picture of the part, the two white rings and the gray ring are the compression sleeves, theres only a 32nd or 16 inch movement in the up/down direction and you need to press down on the sleeve to install or remove the water tube out the valve body. Good Luck and Thanks. or th

Hello Ellen! We do not have the direct information regarding the installation. However, usually the water supply line from the faucet is inserted into the gray colored ring on the bottom of the valve opening. The red solenoid is for the water dispenser The blue solenoid is for the icemaker. Hope this helps!
