The clip the top hinge of the front plate assembly slides onto broke off. What do I need to be able to reattach the assembly?

Jennifer, If it is the piece that is on the door, not the hinge itself then the door would have to be replaced for this issue.

Dave, For this issue you would want to replace the flapper assembly on the unit which is part number AGU74110903.

While replacing the spring in this flipper, the wires above the connector broke. Can the flipper be disassembled so that I can splice the wires? The flipper is quite expensive and I hate to buy another one. Can you tell me what is inside the door that requires electricity? Is it some sort of heater? Ken, Not reconnecting the wires on the flipper assembly is essentially just going to cause condensation build up on the flipper assembly. The wires go into the flipper are for a low wattage heater to keep this from occurring.
