Paul January 27, 2016 LG dishwasher LDS5811WW, there are two hoses that attach at the drain pump assembly. One is a gray ribbed hose that I'd call the "drain hose" to the garbage disposal. What is the black hose called? I need a part number for that short black hose, and I can't seem to find it in the exploded diagram. Scroll the 3:23 mark of the following video for an excellent picture of my situation if that helps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP54RlEM5jY
Jwsommer October 30, 2015 for Model Number LDF6810WW I am wondering if the water inlet is all dirty, do you need to replace it? It seems to be working fine, but when I replaced the drain hose the float seems quite full of gunk. Any suggestions or thoughts to clean it?
1 Answer JWSommer, If the water inlet is working but the float is filled with gunk then you will want to take the float assembly off and try to flush it out. If there is debris in the valve make sure that you try to clean it out also. If either is unable to be flushed then you will want to replace them. Read More...

Db August 26, 2015 The drain hose seems to be redesigned and now includes black vent hose. The one I am taking off does not. Are there installation instructions for the new one? As this is not what my washer had so there is no place to hook up the black hose. I don't need water on my new oak floors.
1 Answer Hello DB. This dishwasher drain hose assembly has been redesigned and includes the black rubber hose that attaches to the top of the water inlet housing on the outside of the tub. Read More...

Don November 21, 2014 Dish washer replacement drain hose AEM69493803 can not flatten the hoses against the machine they seem twisted did i do something wrong. Thank you for you help
1 Answer Don, We would need to have the model number to properly assist but it appears on the diagram for this part that there is a cover that would go over the drain for the side and will keep it flush. When these drain hoses are new they are more rigid and once heated water goes through it, the drain will loosen up and form a little better to the cabinet. Read More...
