Wayne, On most LG dishwashers the small black(3/8") hose attached to the drain hose assembly will be routed to the left side of the tub and is attached to the " nipple" on the air guide assembly 4975DD1001A. If your unit does not have the attachment point you'll need to plug the hose fitting on the new drain hose assembly.

Hello Dan. The black hose goes to the tab on the top of the fill chamber on the side of the unit.

Hi. On the left side of the dishwasher there is a guide assy. part # 4975DD1001A. On the top close to the large black o-ring there is a small nipple port. This is where the small black (air chamber) hose connects. Thank You.

Hello Dan. The over flow chamber is located on the left side of the tub assembly. You will see the fill hose hooked to it.

Hello Marc. There should be a port on the chamber that the hose slides onto. Look on the top and bottom of the chamber for the spot to install the hose assembly. Hope this helps.

Hello Chuck. If there is a port in the bottom of the chamber, then you can install the hose AEM69493807 there. Hope this helps.

Hello John. The Black rubber hose on the drain hose AEM69493807 goes to top of water inlet housing on side of dishwasher. You will see the place where the hose clamp to there. This is the water chamber. Hope this helps.

Hello Jeff. You do not need to cap off the vent tube hose on the drain hose AEM69493807. This prevents the unit from siphoning grey water back into the unit. Hope this helps.

Hi Tom. Are you only using one drawer? I dont understand. Why do you need to cap one side off? You can buy caps and clamps at a hardware store. Thank you.

If the end of the drain hose does not fit to the drain line, use an adapter (not supplied) that must be resistant to heat and detergent and may be obtained from a plumbing shop. 2. When connecting, sealing tape or sealing compound should be used to avoid water leaks. 2. Before connecting, turn off the water supply. 3. After fitting the Elbow into the Inlet Valve, slide the Flexible Stainless Tube or Copper Tube into the Elbow. 4. Tighten the nut and make sure that the line is not kinked or sharply bent.
