Chris E March 29, 2022 for Model Number LRE30453ST I have a 10 yr old LG LRE30453ST electric range that is over heating. The oven will reach the set temp but it appears to continue heating beyond the set temp which causes over cooked/burned items. I do not have any error codes displayed, but have recorded temps of 450 when the range is set to 350. I have ordered a new temp sensor, but curious if I might be looking at the wrong culprit?
1 Answer Chris E, Based on the information provided I would check or replace the oven probe/sensor. If this does not solve the issue then it will likely be the board. Read More...
Wylie December 21, 2020 for Model Number LRE3083ST My front left burner will turn on and glow red, it will then cycle on and off a few times but then eventually when it cycles on, it won't glow red and heat up anymore. Also, it occasionally turns on when I turn on my rear left burner. What would be causing these issues?
1 Answer Wylie, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty control board which will be part number EBR77562705 Read More...
Flo March 21, 2020 for Model Number LRE3012ST The two large elements not turning on (the left one will come on from time to time but just for few seconds, after that nothing) I replaced the relays board, thinking that’s the problem but obviously not. I have continuity in both elements,. I’m not sure what else I should replace next. Any advise would be appreciated.
1 Answer Flo, With the relay boards having been replaced, this issue would most likely be the limiters on the elements being faulty and the elements need to be replaced. Read More...
James January 27, 2020 for Model Number LG LRE6383ST Hi, my dual surface element is not turning on. I checked the wires, coil and continuity and it passed. The burner display lights, but element doesn't heat. What would be the next step. I have no idea how to test the main PCB board or the green board behind it (Whatever that one is)? Thanks in advance.
1 Answer Hello James, the manufacturer has no testing information on this model but since you have already checked the burner then the main control board EBR77562705 is the one that sends power to the cooktop burners, likely there is a faulty relay for that burner on the board. Read More...
Cookingmomma January 20, 2020 for Model Number LRG4113ST Was informed oven relay bad on my under 2 year old LG Probake convection oven now not under warranty. It is not listed as “oven relay” in parts. What correct part number would I order please? All works but not oven. Informed no gas coming into bc this relay isn’t working. Broiler, stovetop work fine (propane).
1 Answer Hello CM, the oven relay is part of the main control board on your model , it is part EBR80595312. Read More...
Summer March 17, 2019 for Model Number LRE30757ST We scooted our LRE30757ST away from the wall and then scooted it back and now it won't heat up above 260. We've examined everything visually and it looks ok. We are not getting an error code. Is there a way to determine if it's the heating element or the PCB assembly?
1 Answer Summer, with the power unplugged, you can test the bake [MEE36593202] and broil [MEE36592901] element for resistance from the back. The bake element should read between 15.3 to 18.7 ohms and the broil element should read between 12.6 to 15.4 ohms. You may also want to test the oven sensor [6322B62214A] which should read between 1 to 1.19 kOhms at room temperature. If these items pass testing, then you may be looking at a control board [6871W1N009E]. Read More...
Charles December 06, 2018 I have an LG electric range model #LRE3012ST and the large burner on the front left will not get hot. there is a relay panel on the back of the unit and it was making a clicking noise and would try to heat up burner but then it quit all together, no noise and no heating. could this relay panel be the problem,?
1 Answer Charles, For this issue that relay board would be the issue with the element not working. Read More...
Leon February 20, 2018 for Model Number LRE3012ST I have a oven that overheats. I think it's the oven relay board. The part # I looked up only showed 2 relays, mine has 5 was this board upgraded ?
1 Answer Leon, The 6871W1N012B / 6871W1N012B is the correct PCB to order for the model number you supplied. It does have three(3) relays, BK, BR, DLB and terminals. The control manufacturer may have eliminated the additional two(2) relays as a cost savings measure, as the relays weren't used on certain models. Read More...
Rich May 12, 2016 for Model Number LRE30453ST/01 Replaced main PCB board and the oven is still not heating at all. Both elements tested good. F7 code displays after the oven is left on for a few minutes. What other part could be the cause of the oven not heating at all?
1 Answer Hello Rich. You will need to check and see if the controller 6871W1N002E is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Jep April 12, 2016 for Model Number LRE30453SW This is a LG stove and oven does not work. No power going to lower element and the upper element cycles on and off. Temp. of oven will only come up to maybe 200 degrees. I have replaced the temp. probe inside the oven, but no changes. Thanks, Jep
1 Answer Hello Jep. You need to check and see if the lower element is bad. If so, replace the element MEE36593201. If not, then you will need to replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
