Eddie N. May 15, 2012 for Model Number WM0642HW The rotor is pictured with a plastic piece that is bolted on the rotor that couples on to the drum shaft. That piece is stripped on mine. Wondering if they just sell the pastic portion instead of buying the complet rotor.
1 Answer Hello Eddie. No, you will need to order the assembly 4413ER1003A for the piece that is broken. Read More...
John December 09, 2011 for Model Number WM2487HRM If a magnet is missing will that cause out of blance and get a UE- error ?
1 Answer Hi John. Yes most definitely it will create the unbalance because of the physical difference in missing a magnet for it to keep proper electrical ramp up efforts will be erratic. Mismatched clothes load, not level side to side, front to back and with the level being set is the lock nuts tightened correctly up against the base so it will keep balanced ? Are the foot pads on an aesthetically clean floor that is solid to grip and withstand the 1000 + RPM without movement ? If the rotor is missing the magnet, then this part # is 4413ER1003A. Hint : it is much easier to have someone to help you level the unit with one person leaning the unit fwd. and balancing it on their lap to reach the back legs from the top by leaning over. Then the both of you can work in unison and it is a safe effort. Thank You. -- Read More...
