Randy February 06, 2015 for Model Number WM2501HWA The rotor splines are stripped but the rotor and magnets are not damaged. The plastic hub with the stripped splines is easily removed with three 10mm bolts. Can i just purchase a new hub and not pay for the entire rotor assembly?
1 Answer Randy, Unfortunately the hub is not a part that is available separately. The rotor would have to be replaced. Read More...

Jane July 10, 2014 for Model Number WM2688HNMA I've seen 3 separate parts listed as replacements for the Rotor Assembly of my machine. Each is different based on the Spline attachment. 4413ER1003A and 4413ER1003B appear to be the same except for a metal spline (B) and a plastic one (A). Is this the only difference, or is there also a size difference between them?
1 Answer Jane, according to the model number and manufacturer the rotor assembly available for your model is part number 4413ER1003B. Unfortunately, we do not have the specs to verify the difference between the two listed parts. Sorry about that. Read More...

Ausuml March 19, 2014 for Model Number LG Washer WM2601HW We had a repairman out yesterday and he verified that this is the part that we are needing. Our machine was purchased in 2009. He said LG was having an issue with the plastic part and have since started replacing with the metal part. Can you verify that this part has the metal and not the plastic before I order? Is this a do it yourself type project? My husband can repair if not to involved. Thank you!
1 Answer Ausuml, The rotor assembly 4413ER1003A is metal and can be easily installed. To install you would pull the unit out and remove the cover from the back. The rotor will be held on by a bolt or screw. Remove the bolt and once removed you will need to grab either side and pull off. Install the new one and put panel back on. Make sure power is turned off before doing the repair. Read More...
1 Answer Nick, To determine if the spline is stripped you would need to remove the rotor assembly. Once removed you would be able to tell if the spine is stripped. Read More...
Danny H May 13, 2013 for Model Number WM2487HWMA I want to make sure I order the correct rotor. Mine of course did like every one else, the plastic center component stripped out. Every thing else is great with machine, no complaints. If you can verify for me most updated part number (hoping they have a more improved part for this) not just one that will fit or work.
