Kevin June 09, 2022 for Model Number lre3194st Will this Temperature Sensor work on the LG electric range? I am having issues finding the Temp sensor, and this looks just like it,
1 Answer Kevin, the temperature sensor EBG61305805 would be used with the model number provided. Read More...
1 Answer J, if the model number of your appliance could be provided in a new question, this will allow the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
Greg June 27, 2020 for Model Number LSB5611SS _Oven set for 350 deg. _Oven overheats to nearly 500 deg and keeps climbing, indicated by portable temp gauge in oven, burns up whatever is in the oven. _Does not regulate temp. _Shutoff oven from front panel. It is really really hot over the 350 deg. as shown on the display. (1) Changed the expensive processor Bd. - Same overheat problem. (2) Checked the Thermistor at room temp. - is 1090 ohm (within range). The only thing left is the relay board (quite expensive). Do you recommend replacing the relay bd. ?, or is there some other component thats affecting the oven overheat problem ?. Heard that the broiler plays a part in pre-heating the oven ?. Do you believe that it is the relay bd is the problem Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Greg, Based on what you have told us, the control board with the bake and broil relays would need to be replaced.6871W1N012B Read More...
Jon November 09, 2019 for Model Number LRE3027ST I have the F9 Error code. Where do I find the two different Thermostats? I have tested everything else. Thank you. JON
1 Answer Jon, the thermostat on your model would be in line with the door lock assembly and would not prevent voltage from reaching the elements. If the heating elements and the oven sensor tested good, then the most likely failure is going to be the oven relay board EBR74164801 and can be tested for 240VAC output from the terminal at the relay 106 to the bake terminal at relay 104 while set to the bake setting. If there is only 120VAC, or no voltage at all, then the relays are not closing properly. Read More...
Shaun December 30, 2018 for Model Number #LRE30453ST /01 My oven won't get up to temp. Often 30-80 degrees off. Set to 350 only gets to 300, 450 gets to 390 ect. I have replaced the main circuit board earlier this year due to burner issues and the C6 connection looks fine. Would I need this part or the actual thermostat to fix this?
1 Answer Shaun, Before replacing anything test the oven temp sensor for 1100 ohms give or take 10 % at room temp. So possible readings are from 1000 to 1100 ohms of resistance. This is usually the cause for an oven not staying within temps. Read More...
Steve December 17, 2018 for Model Number lre3025st My oven temp is sometimes 75 degrees off, sometimes fairly accurate, sometimes all over the place. I checked the sensor and it was 1080 at room temp. Will the sensor fail at higher temps or could the pcb be the problem? thanks for your help
1 Answer Steve, It is possible that the connector in the harness is the reason it could be not reading the temps. You can check thru the harness at the board and see if you still read 1080 at room temp. If so it would most likely be the control not reading it correctly. EBR73710101 Read More...
Akmal C February 07, 2018 for Model Number LG LRE3083SB Hi! Do you by any chance have the specification sheet of this particular thermistor: LG EBG61305081. Specification sheet that has information like expected temperature input that the thermistor could handle, expected voltage output of the thermistor and its accuracy etc. I can't find it anyhwhere on the website. Thank you!
1 Answer Akmal, This thermistor will have a resistance reading of 1090 ohms at room temp. There would not be a voltage reading on it. The resistance will change with the change in temp. For every degree of temperature rise there would be 2 ohms of resistance. Read More...
