The Water Supply Line is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It is responsible for delivering water from the household supply to the refrigerator's water dispenser and ice maker. This line ensures a consistent flow of water, crucial for producing ice and dispensing chilled water.

Over time, water supply lines can wear out or become damaged due to factors such as mineral buildup, kinks, or punctures. These issues can lead to leaks or reduced water flow, affecting the refrigerator's functionality.

Symptoms of a bad Water Supply Line include:

  • Leaks or puddles around the refrigerator
  • Reduced or no water flow to the dispenser
  • Ice maker not producing ice
  • Unusual noises when the dispenser is used

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

Terry, The only way to get this water line that runs in the freezer door to the dispenser would be to replace the freezer door WR78X12190.

Philip, If you are referring to the tube that is running through the door then it is not a replaceable part and the door would need to be replaced. If this is the tube that comes to the door from the valve or the reservoir then part number MJU62070603 would be the 5/16" line.

Jamal, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not list the door tubing separately from the door assembly 3581JA8571L which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

Stephen for Model Number LG LRSC 26925TT Side-by-Side

I am trying to replace the water tube that goes from the bottom front of the refrigerator, up thru the door and into the dispenser. I have disassembled the front panel, but there is a gray rubber nozzle that dispenses the water, and I cannot figure out how to remove it so I can get to the plastic water line. The line itself is cracked right before it goes into the freezer door at the bottom of the unit. I can disconnect it and feed the tube thru the door, but I do not know how to get the feed nozzle in the dispenser off so I can connect the line there.

1 Answer

Stephen, It appears that the water line is foamed into the door and is not replaceable.

Peter, For this you would need to replace the door since the plastic tube is molded in the door.
