Greg, The most likely cause of the unit being stuck on the detecting part of the cycle would be a faulty pressure switch. You will want to check the pressure hose to make sure there are no clogs and if this checks ok then you will want to replace the pressure switch 6601ER1006G.

Michelle for Model Number WM2688HNMA

my washer seems to not be detecting the size of the load, when it starts to fill with water, it's giving too much water, i did a test wash with nothing in the washer and the tub was almost 1/4 full of water--i've already replaced the valve assembly-inlet and the pressure switch--after I replaced the pressure switch the door switch (assembly) went out, it was showing the door was open when it wasnt, now thats been replaced also :( washer is only 6years old

Michelle, To change back from LP to natural you will need to have the burner tubing. The part number for the right front is WB28K10009, left front is WB28K10010, Left rear WB28K10011 and the right rear is WB28K10011. The bake and broil orifices would need to be loosened 1 1/2 to 2 turns and open the air shutters. The regulator will need the cap flipped from LP to natural.

Hi Tim. We see what you mean by the diagram. It is a water valve failure as you presumed. The only way you can tell between the to valves is to shut of one at a time to see the culprit. Do you have a fault code? The hot water is the inside left one. It should read .8 -to- 1.2 k ohms. It Is part # 5220FR2006H. The cold valve is the one on the rt. part # is 5220FR2008F. Thank you.
