Tm February 14, 2012 for Model Number LG LFC25760SW Ice maker is not working and does not appear to have water. Water line is good to the fridge. Does this valve work as a water solenoid valve that opens when the ice maker calls for water?
1 Answer TM, You're correct, When the icemaker reaches the fill increment of the cycle, it closes the fill valve circuit and sends voltage to the fill valve, the valve opens and allows water to pass through the system and fill the icemaker mold, The fill valve 5220JB2010A will be a good place to start.
