For Samsung Dishwasher Main Control Board Assembly (Part Number: OEM17401395)

Scott for Model Number DW80F600UTS

Samsung Dishwasher - Brand New yet had not installed until now after 4 years in storage. Issue: Have gotten "low-level water error" code. Then re-run and have gotten "Over-level water error" code. Have placed an ohm meter on high level sensor and it triggers a circuit on meter when water is observed to fill in case brake up to sensor. The flow "wheel" does appear to spin. When disconnecting the flow wheel and re-running the washer "water supply error" code appears further making the argument that the flow "wheel" does send appropriate signal in my novice opinion. ...So what is the troubleshoot? The main board?...or did I miss something in testing sensors? Thank you.

Hello Scott, this model does not use a traditional float for water level control , there is a flowmeter built into the case brake assembly that measures the water flowing into the tub, from your description it appears to be erratic, it is part DD82-01373A.

Hello, when I turn the dishwasher on Smart Auto, it fills with water, starts the cycle, but within 8 minutes it starts to make a noise, and the lights are on in Smart Auto and Heavy at the same time. Then I try to power off, and it turns on back again by itself. I had to pull the plug from the wall to stop it. Even when it was on, I try to press "Drain" and it wouldn't work. I had to drain it manually, and wash all of the dishes by hand. Could this be the main control board? Please let me know. Thank you! Ana

Ana, the Smart Auto and the Heavy buttons lighting up at the same time is an error code for a button problem on your dishwasher. More than likely it is the user interface control DD92-00037B as it is a button error.

Hello, Unit shuts down after about 8-10 min. Water pressure good, screen clear, fill solenoid opens water flow good, Drain is clear to sink, It sounds like water in then drains, does this a couple of times. detergent door does not open during this time. After a few minutes I hear a dry motor sound run for a second, then stops then I hear it again never heard this before. After about a0 min, the unit completely shuts off and I get 4 beeps and the delicate light continues to bling until I power off. I have unplugged it several times to hope for a reset but no change. your thoughts Thanks Brewster

1 Answer

Brewster, The blinking "delicate" light on the control panel indicates a Drain Error. When OFF, status of low level switch is not detected within 3 minutes of or during drain cycle. You will need to check the water inlet assembly DD82-01373A / DD82-01373A on the side of the tub. Check the wiring connections and the assembly to see if there are deposits or debris in the assembly causing the sensor to fail or produce a false reading to the control board.

Anthony, If there is no power to the display when the on button is pushed then check to see if there is power getting to the control board. If there is then the issue will be a faulty control board and would need to be replaced.

Bill, Based on the description of the problem it does sound like the issue will be with the main control board on the unit.

Hello Richard, This is a leakage error. Check hose connections, sump and tub assembly, and the drain pump assembly for leaks. If the base area is dry the main board DD92-00033C has an electronic issue.

Builderfire, The dishwasher error code of the Smart Auto and Heavy lights flashing would be a over level water error. When overflow detection AD data is 3.5V or below for 3 seconds (When leakage sensor detects 3.5 or below for 1 seconds during water supply). Possible cause flow mete, main PBA or water supply valve.
