Bud, With the dispenser not dispensing ice and icemaker not making ice and no water then this will most likely be an issue with the main control board that is causing this issue.

Matthew for Model Number RF263AEWP/XAA

I purchased the ice maker (AP5651755) after a tenant of mine removed mine from the freezer at the home I rent out. After putting the new one in it still does not function. When I push the test button on the ice maker I don't hear any movement so I am not sure if it is the ice maker assembly I received or something else in the system that could be bad. Any other ideas? I am really trying to avoid hiring someone to come out. Could a bad control board or the water inlet valve? If those were bad would the test button at least work on the unit? The fridge and feezer both function perfectly fine (minus the ice maker). Any tips greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Matthew, With this being a new icemaker then it is more likely that the issue will be a faulty main control board that is causing the icemaker to not work.

Hello Jerry, This DA97-07603B is the icemaker assembly. Since the tube heater is not a part of this assembly, it will have to be ordered separately.

Hello Joe. Just remove the 2 screws and slide it back to remove it. You will need to remove the upper and lower freezer baskets from the unit and taking off the freezer door helps a lot also.

Hello Mack. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
