Replacement spring for the flapper between French refrigerator doors. Installs in the lower hinge to close the gap automatically. Needed when broken or missing.
I thought fixing this door would be too difficult/expensive, so I just spent a week manually closing the flap myself each time I closed the frig. Then I googled the model number of the frig just for fun. The first result was AppliancePartsPros.com, I clicked ONE SINGLE TIME and I arrived at this site, with the exact part I needed listed at the top, and a repair tutorial video that played beautifully with one more click. In the span of two total clicks, I saw how to fix the frig, and I saw... Read more

If your refrigerator has ice buildup on coils or water under crisper drawers, the defrost thermostat may have failed. DIY-friendly repair part.
Poped off plastics caseing inside the frigerator. Unscrewed 4 screws holding black fan inplace. Followed yellow wire to locate white sensor. Need to be careful not to break styrofoam, don't force it, it should seporate from plastic easy as long as the 4 screws are out. Swap it for the new one and button it back up. While I was in there I replaced the defrost sensor and the other sensor next to the heating rod. Also I know there is an issue with drain hole plugging up with ice so I extended the... Read more
Ice maker stopped working or making loud popping sounds? This assembly restores ice production. DIY-friendly repair—just unscrew, unplug, and swap.
Since I could not find the correct thermistor from the schematic provided, I ordered the thermistor harness for the evaporator. I cut the harness and spliced it to the sheared thermistor wires on the roof of the freezer compartment. It now works fine with a little "farmer ingenuity" help. Samsung was absolutely no help at all, but the guy that I spoke with over the phone at APP sure was. This site is now my "go to" for appliance parts! Tip for others with this model. Do not overfill the upper... Read more
Ice overflowing the bin? A broken ice maker shut off arm can't detect full ice levels. Simple DIY fix with one Phillips screw. Video guide included.
I heard a cracking sound so I opened the freezer again and found that it was s piece of plastic -- a small bar -- that had broken off of something. I went online, first to identify the broken part. It was the ice guide. I had to do a bit more research to find out what the ice guide does, as well as the part number. I found it easily on appliancepartspros.com. (I think I purchased a new heating element for my electric oven from you and was able to fix it VERY easily. I was hoping this new repair... Read more
Fix freezer ice buildup & fridge not cooling. This temperature sensor regulates cooling cycles. DIY-friendly repair, takes about 45 minutes to install.
Replaced the inside back panel which comes with a new fan. Seems the old fan had stopped working due to ice which burned it out. The drain tube was blocked and ice built up on the bottom plate. Using a basting tube from Walmart and hot water I thawed out the ice in the tube. The basting tube became much like a toilet plunger and cleared the line rapidly. Nothing else worked as fast. I then bought a one foot long piece of thin solid copper wire from Lowes and stripped the insulation off. I... Read more
Ice maker producing broken cubes or leaking? The ice cube tray often cracks over time. Simple DIY repair—remove 2 screws, unplug, and replace. Video guide.
The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. The excessive build up of ice caused the cube tray to crack and also split the little silicone water grommet that connects to the water delivery tube which directs water into the cube tray. Look out for that little tube... Read more

Seals the refrigerator door to keep cold air in and prevent condensation. Replace when cracked, torn, or not sealing properly. Confirm fit by model.
First, I removed the old gaskets, which was a very easy task since they are held in the doors by rubber beads in recessed slots. I installed the new right door gasket in less than 10 minutes by gradually pushing the retainer bead into the door recessed slot with finger pressure until it was seated properly. The left door bead was somewhat more difficult to install into the bead slot, because the recessed bead slot is covered by a hinged flap on its left edge that doesn't permit easy access.... Read more
Replaces broken or missing handle mounting stud that secures refrigerator door handles. Installs into door to hold handle firmly in place.
Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case. Read more
Plastic cover that protects the ice maker temperature sensor. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing covers to secure the sensor wire and foam insulation.
Samsung refrrigerator. it started when the setting was on cubes but was putting out crushed ice. then months later the water refill was running down into the ice bucket causing a massive block of ice in the bucket. look closely at the first two or three cubes in the ice tray after they unload. mine were not dumping and staying in the tray. when the water refill kicked on it would overfill the tray (because of the leftover cubes remaining in the tray) and would run down into the ice bucket... Securely houses your refrigerator's water filter for clean, purified water. Replace if leaking after filter changes or cracked from wear. Confirm fit by model.
After looking online and discovering that others who had used a knockoff brand filter to "save money" had the same problem, I concluded the only solution was to replace the filter housing. Found the one I needed on AppliancePartsPros.com. Most important to me was the video explaining how to replace the filter housing - it made the task a snap to complete. The price was also competitive with other sources. Shipping was half that charged by Samsung. Not only was it cheaper, but it was also super... Read more

Took a bit to diagnose. First tried cleaning coils but the problem still persisted. Next took of the back panel and put the system into diag mode. (Press energy save button and fridge button for eight seconds system ding once a second and inverter board red LED will blink a code or be on solid if no issue.
