Barb W January 10, 2023 for Model Number RFG237AARS/XAA-0000 We are on well water that goes through an iron filter, carbon filter then up to the refrigerator. Our iron filter was rebedded, all lines leading to the refrig were cleaned out and the carbon filter replaced. Still off taste in water from refrig. Water tastes fine when obtained from copper line behind the refrig. We ran vinegar through the refrig lines. Reduced off taste but still there. Water treatment guy says it must be the holding tanks and they should be cleaned or replaced. What do you think? 11 year old refrig

Randy December 04, 2020 for Model Number RF26VABWP/XAA-00 Will the Samsung RF26VABWP/XAA-00 Refrigerator still work if you remove the Water Reservoir Assembly DA97-07150C and the water hoses? Its not hooked up to the water line and I'm hoping the unit can still be used. The ice maker and the water dispenser stopped working a long time ago and the bottom of the fridge is continually freezing. I think the water left in the reservoir is leaking and freezing. Thanks

Josie April 23, 2018 for Model Number RF26XAERS Hi! The connector that connects the two water reservoir bottles has a hole in it. I would like to just replace that small piece, but I can only find the whole reservoir system with the two bottles and water line. Is it possible to just replace the white connector piece with the o rings? Also does the connector just pull out of the bottles. Thx. :)

Shamus September 11, 2016 for Model Number rf268abbp have a samsung model rf268abbp refrig that the water and ice smell and taste bad. filter and filter assembly have been changed but still have bad taste and smell. tap water is fine. tried bypassing filter and running many gallons of water thru but still no good. any suggestions ? thanks
1 Answer Shamus, With the filter housing and the filter having been replaced then this issue would not be caused by the unit. Would recommend taking a glass of water from the sink and putting it in the refrigerator and see if the taste changes and smells bad. Johnl. June 16, 2016 for Model Number RPG297AArs How does water tank assembly come out of refrigerator? I have removed cover screws (2) and unit is free of back wall. Tanks are frozen cover doesn't want to come off. Unit has tube connection going into sidewall of refrigerator did not see any connection point. Any suggestions?
1 Answer John, You will need to pull the unit out and disconnect the tubing from the water valve in order to get the reservoir to come out of the unit. If you have it loose then that should be all that is needed. Read More...
