Jeff March 06, 2023 for Model Number RF260BEAEBC/AA My unit is not producing ice and I have a 33E error code. I suspect the fill tube heating element failed. Would the DA47-00192E repair kit work on my unit? The compatibility tool indicates it's not compatible. When I search by model number for the repair part, it shows the DA97-00209Z / AP5577572 filler tube assembly, but the compatibility tool also shows that part number as not compatible. What part/part number do I need?
1 Answer Jeff, the fill tube heater DA47-00192E for your model can be tested for resistance to identify if it has failed or not. It should have a resistance of 102 Ohms when tested from connection CN79 orange wire at pin 9 to connection CN51 brown wire at pin 2. If there is no resistance or incorrect resistance, the heater would need to be replaced. Read More...
Wayne October 26, 2021 for Model Number RF261BEAEWW/AA Is this DA47-00192E / AP4444212 ice tube heater the right unit for my Samsung fridge model number? When I check compatibility it says "No", but it is a part listed under my model number on your website. Also wanted to confirm this is the likely problem. The self test actuates the ice maker mech and I can then hear the valve actuating, but no water flows. I have run the forced defrost a half dozen times over the weekend and still no ice so I'm pretty sure this must be it. Just wanted to get your opinion as I don't want to tear it apart until I have the replacement part. Also wondering if you would recommend just spending extra few $'s and replace the entire fill tube assy with heater, p/n AP5577572 instead of just the heater itself? Thanks for your help!
1 Answer Hello Wayne, yes it is the correct part for your model, the ice maker fill tube with heater already attached is an easier repair than unwrapping and rewrapping the foil heater on the tube. Read More...
Craig June 05, 2020 for Model Number RF261BEAESR My refrigerator does not have screws holding in this icemaker fill tube on the rear of the cabinet. Although there are flanges which would accommodate screws, there are no screws. Instead, it appears that the tube is set in expanding foam. How do I remove the tube to replace the heater? Also, is there a special process for reinstalling the tube?
1 Answer Craig, If you pull up the part number on our site for the fill tube heater DA47-00192E, there is a great video to show you the repair. If no screws are present on your model follow the video up to that part and simply pull your tube out. Read More...
Jim December 12, 2019 for Model Number RF323TEDBSR/AA No ice from the freezer icemaker. 33 error (ice maker fill tube heater) How do you check to make sure control board is sending power. Ordered DA47-00192E from your company. Thanks
1 Answer Jim, the fill tube heater would need to be tested from the main control for resistance. At connection CN79, the pink (pin 5) and yellow (pin 8) wires would be used to test the heater for 102O of resistance. If there is not a resistance reading, then the fill tube heater would need to be tested directly to identify if it is a heater issue or if it is a wiring issue within the cabin. The main control would use the same pins to send 12VDC to the heater after the ice maker has completed a harvest cycle. Read More...

Mark August 20, 2019 for Model Number RFG298HDRS The bottom freezer started making a humming/electric sound for about a 1 second and stop in the last few days. Turn that unit off and it stops. The top unit works fine. Noticed we were not getting water to the freezing unit and could feel ice at the end of the fill tube. I watched the video on changing part DA47-00192E. I see in the responses a code error 33E which I have not seen. Do you think this is still my issue? Mark
1 Answer Hello Mark, yes, you are correct, the fault code 33e is a fault in the ice maker fill tube heater ,repair will be part DA47-00192E. Read More...
Rod Kamph March 07, 2019 for Model Number RF260BEAEBC/AA My ice maker fill tube heater quit working and no ice comes out. Tube keeps freezing. This part AP4444212 (heater) looks exactly like the one on mine but I didn't right down the part number when I had it apart last time. My question is when I click your compatibility model tool it says this parts not compatible with ours and when I look under the suggested parts for ours it don't show the fill tube heater? I was hoping to get the new heater pad before I took the freezer/ice cube maker apart again. Thank you, Rod K.
Leroy H July 07, 2018 for Model Number RF263TEAESG/AA The ice in the ice maker in the bottom freezer always comes out with several cubes all stuck together. Never individually! The refrigerator is 2 years old, and it has never worked correctly, but I am sick of the way they come out! Can you, please, help!
1 Answer Leroy, This could be an issue of the water pressure being too high allowing too much water into the ice tray. Try to turn the water supply down just a little and see if this will help to correct the issue of the ice sticking together. Read More...
