Laura December 05, 2019 for Model Number NE59J3420SS This is a Samsung Electric range. The "hot surface" red light stays on but the surfaces are not hot. What do you think the problem is and what part do I need to repair it?
1 Answer Laura, the elements would need to be tested. On each element are small terminals next to the labels 1b and 2b. These terminals would need to be tested for continuity to each other. This test is necessary because each element uses these terminals to turn the hot surface indicator on and off based on the contact position between the two terminals. R.C. September 17, 2019 for Model Number FCQ321HTUX/XAA Digital clock numbers are hard to read. Sometimes it is easier to see than at other times. Right now the 1st digit, 3rd, and 4th are good but the 2nd is blank. Other times the 1st is blank, or 1st and 2nd are blank, or partially blank. Diagram of parts confusing to me, help please
