Tim January 03, 2017 for Model Number WF435ATGJWR/A1-0001 Washer is showing a 3E code, this has the stator motor. Is the stator sensor need replacing or what other checks can be done. What other problems have made these washer show a 3E code?
1 Answer Tim, Here is what you will want to check for the drive motor error. Check the motor drive connector, it may be loose. The hall sensor may be disconnected, loose or damaged . Check for a foreign object inside the motor or motor damage. The stator might be loose or damaged. The drum might be overloaded from too many clothes or the relay or PCB might be defective Read More...
Dan May 02, 2016 for Model Number WF210ANW/XAA - 004 I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with my washer and have gone through and replaced part after part trying to diagnose the issue. Problem: Washer shakes when at mid-speed, when starting spin cycle it shakes like crazy but once it gets going it is fine. But it started with a little shaking while ramping up speed, now it shakes a lot. It slowly got worse over time and now it is really bad. I bought dampers and replaced those, but I think the person sold me bad parts. They match my current front dampers and have almost an inch of play on them before they catch the seal. At the time I thought this was normal (can you confirm if these are supposed to have this much play?) so I replaced the entire drum assembly. The problem still occurred. When I run it in test mode on quick spin cycle, if I hold the front dampers (so there is no play) it runs fine. But if I hold the springs, it runs fine too. So could it be the front dampers? or the springs? Could a bearing problem cause this? I was also wondering if maybe the motor could cause this, like it was getting a bad signal. After I stop a cycle, the magnets lock up and make it hard to manually spin the basket until I turn the unit off to kill the power and then it spins freely. The bearings slightly hum and I plan on replacing them but I do not think they are the issue. I am waiting to see if I can fix the main issue before I replace those kind of parts. The only thing I can think it would be is the dampers, springs, or motor? So after a little more research I found the rotor position sensor. The entire problem seemed to have started after I took it apart to replace the balancer. It seemed like something was up with the motor, like I said above, the magnet would lock. DC31-00098A. Could that be what is wrong with my washer?
1 Answer Dan, It is very possible that the RPS sensor could be faulty. It would be recommended to put the unit into diagnostics to make sure that there are no stored error codes. If there are no error codes then either the RPS sensor would be the issue or you may have gotten bad dampers. Read More...
Peter M. January 14, 2015 for Model Number WF405ATPAWR/A2 Do you carry the wiring harness that connects to this Rotor Position Sensor? Mine got damaged just behind the smaller plug that connects to the sensor while I was replacing the Balancer Assembly (part number AP4327038 - also purchased here - thanks!) and I was able to repair it, but a particularly unbalanced load caused the repaired wire to break again.
1 Answer Hello Peter, The complete harness DC93-00251K will need to be replaced. This is the only way the manufacturer has made the wire available. Read More...
