Kathy, the resistance of the stator DC31-00111A windings should measure 6O rather than 12. As the resistance is quite a bit high, the windings have failed and the stator would need to be replaced.

Michael, Based on the information provided the Samsung error 3C2 refers to a motor circuit error> 1st unplug machine for 1-2 mins. if the problem persists or returns check all the wiring connections in the motor circuit all the way back to the board, if still have issue replace the motor/viberation switch and or the motor.

Jose, If the noise is not happening when the drum is turning then the grinding will come from the pump assembly. Get the tech sheet from inside the unit and put it through a diagnostic mode to see if there are any error codes stored.
