Darrel July 14, 2025 for Model Number WF45K6500AV/A2 Machine is a WF45K6500AV/A2. Stator is a DC31-00111A. Machine when put in test mode gives a 3C2 error. Stator resistance is 11.9 across all terminals. Hall monitor is as follows: Pin 1 = Blue Pin 2 = Orange Pin 3 = Red Pin 4 = Pink Pin 1 to pin 2 = 4.62 KO Pin 1 to pin 3 = 38.53 MO Pin 1 to pin 4 = 4.63 KO Pin 2 to pin 3 = 38.46 MO Pin 2 to pin 4 = 9.25 KO Pin 3 to pin 4 = 64.1 KO I saw where a question was answered that 11.9 was stated to be within testing range on the stator, and another where 12 was said to be faulty. So I thought I’d provide the hall monitor readings as well. Thoughts? I also get an ozone smell when I sniff the PCB but I don't see any burn marks and haven't researched how to test it yet. Thanks!
1 Answer Darrel, Thank you for your question. The resistance readings on the stator are good. Check the hall sensor at the inverter connector CN2 to make sure that it is connected properly. Then measure the output voltage to the hall sensor from the inverter pcb on connector CN2. Here are the readings you should get. Pin 1 to 4 - 5vdc, pin 2 to 4 approximately 0 to 3.5vdc, for this test you will turn the rotor by hand and reading should fluctuate between those voltages, pin 3 to 4 approximately 0 to 3.5vdc while turning the rotor by hand and reading should fluctuate. If the voltages does not fluctuate, check the harness and if harness is in good condition then replace the stator. If there is voltage missing from the pin 1 to 4 then replace the inverter pcb. Dan January 08, 2025 for Model Number WF45N5300AW/US What is the Ohm operating range of the Motor Stator for this unit? Thank you, Dan
1 Answer Dan, the stator windings should measure around 6 Ohms of resistance across each winding set. Read More...
Daniel April 23, 2024 for Model Number WF45K6500AV/A2 My washer will not spin. I put it through test cycles and I’m getting an error code 3C2 when I try to test the rotation of the drum I’ve tested my stater and I’m getting about 14 ohms. I’ve replaced my water valves inlets ,water pressure switch, drain pump and now I Should replace the stator or the control board for it?
1 Answer Daniel, if the spin basket rotates freely, the stator DC31-00111A would be the likely cause of failure for a 3C function code as the windings should measure 6 Ohms when testing from any two terminals on the stator. Read More...
Rob March 10, 2024 for Model Number WF42H5000AW/A2-0000 DRYER WONT SPIN MEASURED STATOR AT 11.8 OMES I SEE IT TRY TO SPIN THEN STOP NO ERROR CODES GIVEN MOTOR CONTROL BOARD HAS FLASHING GREEN LIGHT IS THIS RIGHT
1 Answer Rob, When checking the stator, there should be 6 ohms of resistance between any 2 of the terminals on the stator. You can also check the hall sensor from pin 1 and 3 and pin 1 and 4. There should be a resistance of 2 to 4 Mohms of resistance. Read More...
Nate K September 28, 2023 for Model Number WF45K6500AV/A2 I removed the stator and measured the Ohms at 11.8 or 11.9. Is that OK for the Samsung WF45K6500AV/A2?
1 Answer Nate, the resistance would fall within the testing range provided by the manufacturer. Read More...
Vivek May 19, 2023 for Model Number WF350ANP/XAA How can I know stator is bad, what should be resistance between pins
1 Answer Vivek, You can test the stator for between 4 and 6 ohms of resistance on any of the 3 terminals. Read More...
Angel December 02, 2022 for Model Number WV55M9600AV/A5 01 Will this be the answer for Samsung Flex Wash to an error code of 3C2?
1 Answer Angel, Thanks for the question!!! Yes, the stator assembly is one of the likely causes. Be sure to check for obstructions as well. Read More...
Max G July 21, 2022 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2-01 Please shoot me the correct resistance readings for the motor rotor for my washer model provided between any two wiring (Red, White, and Black). I am getting 12.1 ohms, and the washer has giving me sometime 3E code. Machine is giving hard time by stopping when "spin" is needed, and coming back to repeat same cycle from to the beginning. Thanks
Captclam June 12, 2022 for Model Number Samsung WF395BTPAWR/A1 I have a b3 error on my front loader. It powers on, and within 15 seconds throws the error. Unplugging it overnight does not resolve the issue. Tore it apart, stator looks good with no groves or worn spots on either the stator or the rotor assembly. The stator AP5583744 for my Samsung measures exactly 11.8 Ohms across pins 1 and 3, 1 and 2, and 2 and 3. Isn't it extremely unlikely a stator would fail and have the same ohm reading, wouldn't it? This forum answers that the stator should show 6 ohms, not twelve, and that twelve would indicate a bad stator, but I am having a hard time buying that. One answer says that the manufacturer says it's 6 Ohms, but there are two videos on YouTube with a Ohm reading of 12 Ohms and they said the stator was good. Can someone please verify that for me? Interestingly with the stator completely unplugged, powering it on it still shows the b3, but maybe it is because that is the code it throws first when there is a problem or it is a generic code? Hoping it isn't the PCB board, and shooting for hoping it is the position sensor. Thinking of ordering one, but if it's the stator, I don't want to waste the 50 bucks.
1 Answer Captclam, unfortunately, the error b3 is not a valid service error code or consumer error code. Usually, an invalid error code would be the failure of the main control DC92-01063B. Read More...
Byron December 08, 2021 for Model Number Samsung wf42h5000a I'm having a problem with our washing machine refusing to spin. It drains a few times and then just will never start spinning. If I leave it unplugged overnight, the next day I can sometimes get a wash or two before the problem returns. Before I start taking anything apart, what could be the problem here? I did get a code 3E but it doesn't always show up even if the machine is refusing to spin. Thanks!
1 Answer Byron, The error code 3E often indicates a malfunction in the operation of the hall sensor or the motor. This could be caused by overloading the machine or one of these parts has failed. Read More...
