Drain pump broken off washer and won't hold water. Looks like that part is discontinued. Part number was I think DC97-16985A. Is there a replacement part for this discontinued pump?

Sorry Kim. They do not offer just the washers for the pump.

I am actually a samsung field tech, and with the problems with the new recall parts that are installed to keep the top of the machine from coming off, Samsung has contracted Dish Network to do the upgrades do to the sheer number of them. The dish guy in my area has done the upgrade wrong and cut the drain pump wire. I have repaired them. I can't find the part number for just that wire, and samsung tech support has no clue. Anyone know that wire part number?

Hello John, I'm sorry but it appears the harness is only available as a part of the pump assembly kit DC98-01877A. If you want, you could post a new question including the model from the units' I.D. tag and we can check the manufacturers' parts list to see if there is a listing for the pump harness. I have been reviewing your site and the many questions and answers concerning my samsung washer that the drain pump assembly has broken off. Reference DC97-16985A This obviously occurs quite often. But in reviewing many of the answers for my model, I am not sure which replacement part is the correct one. Many answers are the DC97-17366A, and many are the DC8-01877B. Can you please inform me which is the correct? Thank You

Chris, This drain pump DC97-17366A would not be for your unit and you would need to get the drain pump assembly part number DC98-01877B which is a redesign from the original and will need to use all parts in it.
