Hello Ping, then manufacturer has made a design change in this part, the only way to determine the correct part is using the part number printed on the underside of the original part which you found, the correct cap is DC66-00887B.

Sheri, Pushing the debris through is one alternative. Use a small flat blade "pocket" screwdriver or awl to scrape and remove as much debris and deposits from the pulsator center, clean the area thoroughly and snap the cap back into position. You may want to remove the pulsator, soak it in hot water to loosen and remove any light debris then scrape the remaining build-up from the area and re-install the pulsator and cap.

Jay, unfortunately, the model number provided appears to be an incomplete model number. If the model continues with V/A2-00 then the pulsator cap DC66-00887A would be used. If the model continues with a different V/ number, then the pulsator cap DC66-00887B would be used.

Guy, The unit leaking would have nothing to do with the pulsator cap. Look for damaged hoses or leaking valve. I these things are good then look for a bad tub seal.
