Monica December 27, 2021 for Model Number DW8080N3030US I need the gasket for the pump drain but i can't seem to find where i can order it. My dishwasher leak sensor (normal light keeps flashing) keeps going off and I believe the leak is coming from the pump drain. I see the gasket in the picture for the pump drain but i don't see the gasket itself.
1 Answer Monica, the drain pump gasket is only available as part of the drain pump DD81-02635A. Read More...
Charlie August 11, 2021 for Model Number DW80K7050US is there a way to check part #CC31-00005A drain valve? It turns free and has no damage, impellers are all fine and has no visible damage. Just don't want to drop the money if I don't need to. Also just wondering if the check valve goes bad.
1 Answer Charlie, Testing would be if the part is receiving the proper voltage and is not doing what it is supposed to do it would need to be replaced. The check valve is not usually a problem during the drain. Read More...
Michael Bouras July 02, 2021 for Model Number DMT300RFS/XAA The heavy code light is flashing cannot do a thing to reset. I do not see a leak any where! Unit is empty and dry. We did a load of dishes and it ran the complete cycle and after is when the code light started flashing. Can you help?? Cannot find a repair tech to work on a Samsung in my area.
1 Answer Michael, The heavy light flashing will indicate a high-temperature water error. The things that would cause this would be a faulty thermistor or a faulty main control board. You can test the thermistor for resistance and if it is good then the board will be faulty. Read More...
Michaela April 26, 2018 for Model Number DMR57LFS/XAA-0000 I have a leak under the dishwasher and it appears to be coming out of the pump drain area. I have replaced the oil shaft seal, the rubber seal filter, rubber scroll seal, made sure the tube didn't have a leak and was connected properly and still have a little leak and then the leak code comes on. Could the issue be I need to replace the pump drain (even if it appears to be in tact)? Second question is, I see a drain check valve on the parts list but I can't seem to locate where one goes in my dishwasher at all does anyone have this information? Or does my model not actually have one of these? It is about 10 years old and was in bad condition when I started to try to repair it just sat for a long time with some residual water in it because it wasn't draining and now im trying to repair it for selling my home. Any help is greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Michaela, It is not showing a check valve on this unit but may be part of the drain hose. The check valve will not typically cause the unit to leak and is there to prevent back flow. The sump seal where the motor attaches to the sump at the bottom will most likely cause this. Read More...
Kellie April 17, 2017 for Model Number dw7933lrabb I have a dw7933lrabb that is leaking from the drain pump, it looks to still be in good shape and not damaged (not sure why its leaking) Is there any gasket or seal I can use to keep it from leaking or will the whole thing have to be replaced?
Kevin March 14, 2017 for Model Number DW7933LRASR I have a dishwasher that is not draining. I cleared out the drain pipe, checked the impellor, checked the check valve which still looks new and could find any blockage but water just barley trickles out of the drain pipe. I could hear power getting to the drain pipe but it didn't sound right so I replaced it figuring maybe it had failed mechanically. I replaced that and still the same trickle. Any ideas what could be the problem?
1 Answer Kevin, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty drain pump DD31-00005A but you can test to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the drain pump. If there is 120 vac then the pump will be the issue. If there is not 120 vac then check the wiring between the pump and the control board and if it checks ok then the control will be the issue. Michael February 11, 2017 for Model Number DW80F800UWS/AA-0000 Dish machine fills with water and drains when pump motor comes on. It does this 3 times and times out? What is wrong. I think it is the mother board?
1 Answer Michael, The unit draining when the pump comes on would be an indication of a bad control board but will want to test the flood switch located in the brake assembly on the side of the dishwasher to ensure that it is good. Read More...
Thomas July 11, 2016 for Model Number DMT400RHS/XAA Can you tell me the measurement from tip to the tip of the blade directly across of the dishwasher drain pump. I suspect that the impeller is too small. I'm asking for the measurement from one side to directly across. Thanks in advance for your help.
1 Answer Hello Thomas. Sorry, we do not have that information available. You will need to contact the manufacturer for this information on the drain pump. Read More...
Ahmad December 26, 2015 The dishwasher will not go to the next cycle and water is at the bottom of the tub.
1 Answer Ahmad, You will want to check to the drain line to make sure that it is not clogged. Make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump and make sure that there is power getting to the drain pump. If there is but not draining then replace the pump. Read More...
Paul J February 10, 2015 for Model Number DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 When removing the drain pump for troubleshooting (I am working on a flashing quick light and water not draining problem) I lost track of which wire went to which connector on the drain pump. The wiring diagram doesn't specify, and both connectors are the same. I have ordered a new pump from you, but can you tell me which wire goes where when I install the new pump? Thanks very much.
1 Answer Paul, The orange wire going to the pump will go to the left side of the pump if looking at it from the top and the white will connect to the other terminal. Read More...
