Jeff October 27, 2014 for Model Number DMT400RHS/XAA Samsung dishwasher dmt400rhs stops running after approx. 1 hr. and the heavy light constantly blinks. The manual says its a leakage error. The drain hose is not leaking nor crimped. There is water in the pan which is setting off the sensor.Could it be the drain pump that is leaking or is there something else causing water to leak? Jeff
1 Answer Jeff, You will want to check the drain pump for leakage and also check the water valve to make sure that the valve is not leaking. These would be the 2 most common places for a leak. Also check all hoses for the unit to make sure that there are no leaks in them. Read More...

Tom B. July 06, 2014 for Model Number samsung dmt800rhb dishwasher Dishwasher is not draining. Getting an error code 5E. Dishwasher starts but when it comes to stage to drain error code comes up and dishwasher stops. We have checked hoses as best as we can.
1 Answer Hello Tom, This is normally caused by a failed drain pump DD31-00005A. It can also be caused by a bad control board DE92-02256A. This can be determined by checking for 120Vac at the drain pump while the unit is on and in the drain position. Remember, a clog in the drain or a separated impeller from the drain pump will cause the same fault code. A unit that has been working could have a crimp in the drain line that has clogged with food particles and debris. Read More...
