Kim L January 22, 2023 for Model Number RV36 The vent hood stopped working when it was raised to start use. In troubleshooting The ECM was checked and a carbon mark was on the back of the enclosure as well as the printed circuit board. I tested for ground faults, none were found in the motor or the limit switch assembly. I inspected the control wiring up to the push buttons. No nicks or pinched wires were found. The ECM was replaced , the power was turned on. I pressed the down button to close , and the ECM was blown up same as the original. The fuse was blown on the board, and the smoke was let out with the back of the board blown up again. What have i missed? the fan motor runs when tested, Is the capacitor for the motor failing ? causing over current?
1 Answer Kim, The capacitor on this could certainly be bad but you will want to double-check everything and ensure that there is no damage or exposed wiring which would be the likely cause. Read More...
1 Answer Pamela, the model number provided is going to be for the motor section of the vent. If the model number of the vent filter section could be provided, this will allow the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
James April 19, 2020 for Model Number DACOR RV36B WHEN THE UP DOWN SWITCH IS DEPRESSED ON THE KEY PAD THE VENT RISES TO THE TOP POSITION BUT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON... THE VENT THEN IMMEDIATELY RETURNS TO THE DOWN POSITION.. THE KEYBOARD WAS REPLACED ABOUT A YEAR AGO. WHAT IS THE PART # NEEDED TO FIX THE PROBLEM.. THANKS
1 Answer Hello James, the limit switches in the drive assembly are faulty, the drive assembly is part DE81-06588A however the part is discontinued and no longer available. Read More...
Janice March 21, 2018 When baking on the bake cycle the fan constantly runs as if its on convection bake how do I fix this the range is only 5 years old I do a lot of baking and it is very annoying
1 Answer Janice, If the convection fan is continuously running then this will be a faulty relay board on the unit. Read More...
Neil December 18, 2017 i have a dacor rv46w vent, it is dead. A repairman told me it needs a main circuit board.. the vent model number is cabp3 is this the right board.

Ron P. March 13, 2017 for Model Number rv30, sn 287574 dacor downdraft circa 1999 F70E Unit works ok raises lowers all 3 speeds and stops, it just has a faint hum in motor when off. Motor operates fine and turns on and off when unit reaches limit switch. Disconnect blue wire motor stops humming and motor stops working. This is a vary faint hum. Would it possibly be the circuit board leaking power to start winding?
1 Answer John, The main power board, which is the relay board, on this model will be part number DE81-08577A. Read More...
Jim January 30, 2016 for Model Number RV36S, May of 2007 Remote blower (1000 CFM), REMP, runs at idle speed so there is no airflow. Replaced capacitor with no change. Motor appears to be ECM type. Does speed signal com from circuit board or is it internal to motor? Part numbers required to repair?
1 Answer Jim, The motor does not control the speed and it is the control board which controls the fan and would need to be replaced. The part number for the correct control board for the unit is DE81-07744A. Read More...
Larry January 17, 2016 for Model Number RV36 Regarding that zener diode Z1, on the older 72881 board. Can anyone read the part number on the component? It starts with 1N53??. The last two digits relate to the zener voltage. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Larry. Sorry, we do not have the information for components of the control boards. Read More...
