Rob January 21, 2015 for Model Number RVC36 Is there a procedure to installing the control board. My unit goes up and down randomly Was lucky enough to find a new control board so want to be careful not to screw up the installation. I can see the cap that comes off but don't see how to remove it. And also of there is a procedure for cleaning the buttons, and since it is an older unit how to make the buttons less brittle.
1 Answer Hello Rob. KEYPAD, KEYBOARD REPLACEMENT RV SERIES RAISED VENT Removal of the cooktop is not required. ? Raise the vent sleeve by pressing the UP/DOWN button. If the unit is dead, raise the vent by removing the black motor sleeve wires L3 and N3 from the main PCB and hook direct to a power source (Auxiliary power cord, pigtail etc) ? With the vent in up position turn off the electrical power to the vent and remove the vent electric cover plate. ? If a cabinet blower is used, disconnect the blower from the vent by loosening the three wing nuts located above the blower and lifting up on the blower retaining bracket. ? If a remote blower is used remove the cover plate. ? Disconnect the 14 wire Molex plug from the main PCB. ? Remove the screws, 1 on each side of the sleeve. Lift top cap assembly from the sleeve assembly. Guide the Molex plug through the electric box and through the channel in the sleeve assembly. ? Remove the right end cap (pressed in). Slide out the bezel, keypad and keyboard as one unit. Replace desired part and reinstall in reverse order. Read More...
Bob J January 01, 2015 for Model Number rv36w - Dacor downdraft for cooktop Our keyboard does not light up or raise the down draft unit any longer (or turn on the blower). I already ordered the part 82633 from you guys (and the keyboard still does not light up or operate the down draft) so I am wondering if it is more likely that the main control board needs replacing? Or, is there any way to test the main control board? I tested the new keyboard circuit board and it seems to have power to it according the volt meter. Thanks!! Bob J.
1 Answer Bob, With the unit not moving up and down and the blower not coming on, this would most likely be caused by the main control board. Unfortunately we do not have any wiring information to help with the testing procedures for this unit. Read More...
Rick H December 19, 2014 for Model Number rvcp3 I was told circuit board 700991 will replace my 82700 circuit board in my rvcp3 down draft ?
1 Answer Rick, The control board DE81-07744A will not replace the control board 86100. The DE81-07744A is for RV models and the 86100 is for RVR and RVC models. Read More...

Bill S June 20, 2014 for Model Number Dacor Pinnacle RV30 The fan does not operate properly at high speed and the light on the high speed button flutters when we try to put it on high. Everything works fine on Low and Medium. Any idea where the problem might be?
1 Answer Hello Bill. Check and see if the voltage is fluttering during high speed. If so, check the wiring and if good, replace the board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Gary G. November 03, 2012 for Model Number Dacor Pinnacle RV46 The main power control circuit board has a burned transistor Z1 and the fan keeps making noise without working. The control board part 700991 on your site looks different than the one I have, and I don't see any "Keyboard Incoming Plug "on it. What is the proper replacement?
1 Answer Hi. The main control board part DE81-07744A is a upgraded part and does not look the same due to different part upgrades. The keypad ribbon connector plugs into the board in a white outlined pin connection. It is notched one way for correct insertion. You can see it in our part view behind the "Blue Fan wire lead" Kind of hidden. Thank You. Read More...
