Glenn December 19, 2019 for Model Number ERD36SCH/LP I am unable to find my model number ERD36SCH/LP on any parts website. I find ERD36LP, ERD36LPH, ERD36, ERD36NG, and ERD36NGH. I need the hinges. What model number should I select? Is the 62436 the right hinge? EVERYONE, including this site, seems to be out of stock. The hook seems to be broken on one hinge. Not sure if the springs are shot. Is it possible to use parts (springs and clips) from the 701035. Perhaps the springs are the wrong strength.
Chris March 20, 2019 for Model Number dacor erd48 I just replaced the hinges on my Dacor erd48 range and the large door opens and closes fine. The smaller one will not stay open...any ideas?
1 Answer Chris, you may want to check to ensure that the hinges are seated fully. Also, if the smaller door hinges were replaced, the part number used should be [701034]. If the door spring [62436] was used on the smaller door, the springs on the hinges are rated for the larger door so have more tension which would cause the springs to retract easier since they would be on a smaller weight door. 1 Answer Walter, To remove the hinge receptacles you would need to remove the side panels of the unit in order to gain access to them. For the hinges you would need to open the door all the way and hook the hinge with the rotating clip on it and then close the door and lift it up to the closed position and lift the door off.
