Dio April 13, 2022 for Model Number ME18H704SFS/AA-01 So I found out that the thermostat on top has been burnt. I’m buying part number de47-20034a (correct me if I’m wrong) to replace it. However I’m just wondering, when I connect it, does it matter which cable goes on one side & which goes on the other? If yes, how do I tell? I see a red mark but that mark spins so it’s pretty useless since the mark could be on both sides.
1 Answer Dio, Because this is just like a switch it will not matter which terminal the wires hook up to. Read More...
John February 09, 2022 for Model Number SMH8165ST/XAA-0000 Microwave overheated causing a Spark and Blowing the 20 Amp Fuse. Replaced 20 Amp Fuse, All Normal Display Indicators and Under ALL Turntable/Light/Vent Controls are functional. When I Depress the One Minute +, the Unit Lights Up/Turns On then Immediately Blows the 20 Amp Fuse. It will NOT Trip the Circuit Breaker. Just Blows the 20 Amp Fuse. Witch Components should I Suspect and Test for a SHORT?
1 Answer John, Check the door switches on the unit as they will be the most common reason for the fuse to blow. Read More...
Gideon December 31, 2021 for Model Number MCO160UW Is part number 1807 ksd - 40C 56 the thermostat is NC or NO for Magic microwave
Joshua December 24, 2021 for Model Number ME21H706MQG/AA Which thermostat is needed? It is located on the front right bottom of the microwave. To get to it I needed to remove the control panel. There are 2 thermostats side by side attached to the bottom and this is the one furthest right. As far as its function: I had an issue with it turning on and the light coming on and wiggling and tightening the connectors on this did the trick.
1 Answer Joshua, the thermostat DE47-00050C would be used. However, it sounds like the wire terminal is loose and would need to be tightened up while changing out the thermostat. Read More...
John December 08, 2021 for Model Number ME21H706MQS Exhaust fan will turn on only to the lowest setting. will not increase speed. the front left thermostat reads 2.4 ohms, (two red wires); the front right thermostat and the top thermostat both read 0.00 ohms. Is this a thermostat issue or a control board issue?
1 Answer John, Thanks for the question!!! It would not be a thermostat. It would be either the fan motor or a relay on the control board. Check for the proper voltage from control to fan, if the voltage is correct replace the fan. If not replace the control board. Read More...

Robb July 13, 2021 for Model Number ME21H706MQG Microwave started heating intermittently then not at all. Everything else works normally, lights, timer, fans, turntable, just does not heat food. Replaced the DE47-20034A with a part I got off Amazon, fan ran contently, but started heating again. Will the correct DE47-20034A fix my issue? Original is stamped KSD1 AR3 40/70.
1 Answer Robb, The thermostat would cause the heat to not work and replacing it corrected that issue but the fan running continuously would be caused by replacing it with the wrong part. The one that you received should be normally closed for continuity and would go in place of the thermostat that is next to it and you should have gotten a normally open thermostat DE47-00050C to put where you put the other one. Tony July 10, 2021 for Model Number DE47 20034A How do I test the thermal fuse if it says it is open in its natural state?
1 Answer Tony, the thermostat would need to be heated with a hairdryer to get it to closing temperature. This would be done when the part is out of the appliance. Read More...
