Joyce February 14, 2025 for Model Number VGSC3676BSS I had this Viking gas range for 19 years. All of the 6 burners have flames. Just two of them keep making clicking sound even with the flame on. Is that a problem of the spark module? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Joyce, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. That will either be the spark module [PA020048] or the igniter not being positioned properly to allow the spark module to read continuity through the flame. I would check that the igniters are centered in their openings and that there is no carbon/soot build up on the burner heads before replacing the spark module. Read More...
Mark A August 04, 2022 I have a four burner Viking VGSU1024. The front left burner will not light. There is a small spark, but not adequate to light the burner. We had an appliance repair man out for another issue. We did clean the igniter, but didn’t fix problem. He suggested replacing spark module. The Spark Module is Tytronics model RI 120E-4 PA020041 1. Do you think this is right approach? 2. Are the wiring connections just pushed on to connect. I think so, but not sure. Thanks
1 Answer Mark, For this issue, check to make sure that the burner head and cap are clean. If this is clean then the issue would most likely be the spark module PA020041. Read More...
Michael July 17, 2022 for Model Number VGIC3656BSS Hello, we have a six burner Viking range. All the burners ignite but when we ignite the front left burner, the back left burner starts to click as well. Would this be a wiring issue or do I need to replace the igniter module? It uses igniter module PA0240021.
1 Answer Michael, The design of the range is for all of the burners to click when one is turned on. This is a safety in case of there being a gas leak at one of the burners or if one was slightly left on so that it will ignite. Read More...
Claude July 10, 2021 for Model Number VGIC3054BSS Hi, I have a problem, sometimes ignition works sometimes doesn't work at all. No click and no fire. When we look at the part actually in the stove, we note that it's a RI 120E-4 but in the book that they gave us when we bought the stove many years ago, this part is supposed to be PA0020047. This part does not look at what we have in place actually. The actual part RI-120E-4 worked for many years and never been replaced. We are a little bit mixed up to buy the good part to replace the actual ignition spark module. Can you help us ? Thanks in advance
1 Answer Claude, the spark module PA020047 is recommended by the manufacturer for use with the model provided. Read More...

Jim March 04, 2020 for Model Number Viking VGRC4856GDSS Hi. My viking was made in June '06. I am replacing the main spark module (PA020041). I see the PA020047 is available much cheaper. It looks like the output for both is identical. Can I use the 47 in replacement of the 47? Thanks!
1 Answer Jim, It would not be recommended to use the PA020047 in place of the PA020041. There is a difference in the way they mount and while they have the same input, the output is not listed for the one that does not go to your unit. It is recommended to use the manufacturer part listed for your unit. Read More...
