Colleen June 09, 2013 for Model Number KEBC107KSS04 Kitchenaid Oven I replaced the inner glass on this oven. I got everything back together but the hinges seem locked in place. The owners manual states that I should hear a clicking sound when I place the oven door back into the hinges and open it. I cannot even get it to open. I am afraid I will break it if I try too hard. I was careful not to switch the hinge placement in the door since they are not interchangeable.
1 Answer Colleen, It sounds as though you may not have gotten the door in place properly if you are unable to open the door. You will want to make sure that the hinges seated properly when the door was reinstalled. Read More...
Lynne January 08, 2013 for Model Number kebc208kssa My door buzzes & vibrates when oven is on. If I press on the door it stops. Can you think of something that would make the door vibrate & buzz constantly? PLEASE HELP!!!!
1 Answer Hello Lynne. You need to check the fan motor in the unit. Also, it may need to be un-installed and make sure there is no loose wires or the metal conduit causing the noise in the unit. The last thing would be the hinges not pulling the door tight enough. Read More...

Carla H September 05, 2012 for Model Number KEBC107KSS03 Outer black glass shattered on my oven door. What parts are requred to replace? Are there any installation instructions with the replacement glass?
1 Answer Hello Carla. WPW10200754 is the black glass. To change the glass in an oven door, you will need to determine how to remove the door on the model number you are working on. If you open the door to the first stopping point, some oven doors will lift off the unit in this position. On other models, you will see clips on the back of the hinge toward the opening where the hinge enters the range. If yours is like this, you will open the door all the way open, then pull the clips down until they stop and lock in place. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the range. If you door does not lift off, and it does not have the clips, then you will open the door all the way open. You will see a hole in the hinge at the bottom of the door. You will insert a pin or nail into that hole and close the door to the stopping point. Then you can lift the door off the unit. Once the door is removed, you will lay it on a soft surface and disassemble the door. Pay attention and make notes if needed for reassembly of the oven door. Once you have replaced the door glass, you will reinstall the oven door back onto the range in reverse order of the way you removed it. Read More...
