Craig July 31, 2016 for Model Number KUDS24SEBL2 Why don't the wash arms spin? It seems like there isn"t enough water pressure to make the arms spin. I replaced the bearings on both spray arms. I noticed on the parts diagram it shows two ball checks (# 7 on the parts diagram). Where do they go?
1 Answer Hello Craig, You should check the chopper and impeller assembly. IF something has happened causing the screen to stop up, water pressure will not be able to pass so the spray arms can spin. There is a kit 675806 for this assembly that takes care of any issues with the assembly. Read More...
Darrell May 11, 2015 for Model Number 665.15921691 My dishwasher will not drain. I have checked my garbage disposal and drain hose for clogs and they are clear. I took the filter section apart and found some debri in the pan and cleared it. Reassembled the unit, did a test wash but unit still does not drain. Any ideas what to check next?
1 Answer Hello Darrell. Check and see if the motor is running during the drain cycle. If not, and there is power to the motor, you will need to replace the pump and motor assembly W10428773 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
