This agitate & spin drive belt transfers motor power to the washer's transmission and spin mechanism. Replacing a worn belt restores proper agitation and spin performance and helps prevent slipping noise or burning-rubber smells.

  • Links the drive motor to the main pulleys to power both agitation and spin
  • Replaces a broken, stretched, or glazed belt that slips under load
  • Common symptoms: no spin or no agitation, weak/slow spin, squealing, burning-rubber odor, visible cracks or fraying
  • Helps ensure smooth, consistent tub movement and complete cycles
What's included: 1 drive belt Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and water; wear cut-resistant gloves
  • Access the belt from the bottom or rear, per your model's service procedure
  • Release belt tension (motor carriage/idler), remove the old belt, and route the new belt around the motor and drive pulleys as shown on the unit
  • Rotate by hand before restoring power and running a test cycle
Note: Many belt-drive washers also use a separate pump belt; this part is the drive belt for agitation and spin.
